Dendrobium tobaense var. giganteum

A species discovered in 1993, Dendrobium tobaense is native to northwest Sumatra along the northeastern shores of Lake Toba. This particular form is the giganteum type, known for larger flowers than the originally discovered species. Found in the wild at 750 to 1500 meters above sea level, this is a cool to warm-tolerant, compact plant.

The flowers have a light fragrance, and the plants are free-flowering.

The current batch are all blooming size.
