A fascinating miniature Dendrophylax species native to southern Florida, the Bahamas, and parts of the Caribbean and Central America. It produces delicate white to pale green flowers that appear to float in midair, giving it the common name 'Jingle Bell Orchid'. Typically blooms from late spring through summer, most commonly between May and August. Mature plants may produce several small, fragrant white flowers in succession, especially under warm, humid growing conditions with good air movement.
Note that this species is much, much easier to grow than lindenii. Just provide good humidity and airflow, with frequent watering, and this plant will thrive.
Current plants are growing set atop coconut husk fiber inside 3" pots for stability and support, ready to be mounted!
