Description
Native to Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia, this genus has Sobralia-like foliage and hirsute canes covered with fine red hairs. Clusters of flowers emerge from distinctive, pinecone-like inflorescences.
These plants are easy to grow, tolerate conditions ranging from cool to hot, and prefer lower light levels.
