Description
This Erlenmeyer flask terrarium contains Pinguicula esseriana, Peperomia prostrata, live moss, and Tillandisa.
Pinguicula is one of the smallest Pinguicula species out there. It is very easy to grow in a moisture retentive mixture. Of the Carnivorous plant family, Pinguicula's are very adept at catching the small fungus gnats that can appear in orchids or house plants.
Peperomia prostrata (AKA String of Turtles) is another very easy to grow plant that does well in humid environments. It can be easily propagated from cuttings.
Tillandsia (AKA Air Plants) are easy to grow as well and thrive in humid environments which makes them a great candidate for terrariums such as this.
To water this, pour about a half an inch of water into the flask and it will wick up into the moss, repeat as the moss approaches dryness.
