A rare orchid species from northeastern Madagascar with tall, 3–5 foot spikes. The spikes produce numerous fragrant flowers, creating a striking display! Despite this being such a large plant when mature, it prefers shady, low light conditions and can handle 60's to 90's for a temperature range. These grow via long rhizomes and need plenty of space in the pots. In nature, they grow as epiphites on palm trees up near the crowns.
We estimate this batch to reach flowering size in 2027 to 2030, depending on your growing conditions.
