Fuukiran/Fuuran pot - Turtle Shell pattern J4

This style of pottery is called 'Raku' and has an un-glazed finish. It is made out of very thin clay in order to let air breath through and prevent condensation. Fuuran (Neofinetia falcata) enjoy good air movement, making this the perfect pot to grow them in. This style of pot has been used since the 1600's in Japan. For large view of pot, click here.
