This hardy species from Mexico can be found growing as an epiphyte on trees or as a lithophyte on rocks. These may flower in late December to January, although warmer summer and fall temperatures can stimulate early spiking. These seed-grown plants will vary slightly in flower shape and color from one plant to another.
