Laelia endsfeldzii

Found in Brazil in the state of Minas Gerais at 900 meters, this warm to cool growing species is found growing in crevices in granite out-crops, with the roots in a peat-like substance. Water well during growing season but keep drier in Winter with heavy misting of the leaves and top of potting mix. These usually flower in January or February. These little plants can develop flower spikes from 14 to 18 inches or more in length, with yellow flowers and a lip that has a deeper yellow colored tip.
