Laelia purpurata var. schusteriana - Individual Listings

This seems to be normal for this variety (it has been virus tested negative), and perhaps schusteriana could green up more in lower light levels.

The darkest lip option amongst the purpurata. We obtained the famous 'Equilab' clone in the 1980s and self-pollinated it to produce similar results.

Please Note: We prefer to ship these in-sheath when the buds are in development, as this prevents damage to the buds and flowers in transit. They typically start flowering from April through early June.
