Lycaste peruviana var. peruviana

The yellow form of Lycaste peruviana, found in the Andes of Ecuador and Peru. This particular species blooms in the spring and is most well known for its movable lip that can flutter in the wind to attract pollinators, similar to many Bulbophyllums.

Current plants are recent divisions that should now be pushing out new roots as the newest growths continue to emerge and develop.
