Masdevallia glandulosa hybrid

Originally purchased as Masd. glandulosa, this orchid blooms with one inch wide flowers that do not quite resemble those of the species. The flower's colors and pattern are highly similar to that of Masd. Snow Cone, although with deeper pink coloration. That, paired with the fact that the growth habit is smaller than Snow Cone, leads us to believe this may be a backcross: Snow Cone x glandulosa. This orchid blooms variably throughout the year, often at the same time as Snow Cone.
