Maxillaria tenuifolia

This species is native to Mexico, Nicaragua, and possibly Costa Rica. It is famous for its coconut cream pie scent. Some people say it smells just like Coppertone sunscreen lotion!

Grow in medium to bright light for best flowering. Likes moisture at roots. Climbing pseudobulbs with grass-like leaves. These become large, beautiful plants with many growths and flowers.

The current batch of plants are loaded with growths and are a great start toward becoming a specimen plant. See the last photo for an example of the plant you will receive.
