Miltoniopsis Maui Pearl 'Red Hot'

While the flower photo is of Miltoniopsis Tome Yokoyama 'Golden Gate', this clone is very similar with fewer white spots in the lip. These become very fragrant a few days after the flowers open fully. The flowers typically last 4 to 6 weeks or longer if you have cooler conditions. Given that these orchids are in a coarse mix, watering twice per week is typical. As part of the natural progression of Miltoniopsis growth, the leaves on older pseudobulbs turn yellow and eventually drop off.
