This tree fern is sustainably harvested in New Zealand for growing orchids or in use for vivariums or terrariums. This is very different from the tree fern of central and South America. The tree fern from New Zealand is more dense but softer and more water retentive making it ideal for orchids and other epiphytic plants. We offer two thicknesses of the plaques in 1 inch and .6 inch . Long lasting (up to 15 years ).
