Description
This species can be found growing epiphyticaly on trees in the tropics of southeast Asia. The plants in this genus are known for the symbiotic relationship they form with ant colonies, which house themselves within the chambers of the enlarged caudex. This thick-leaved species is more resilient to lower humidity levels. When grown to mature size, this plant produces small white flowers and little white fruits from the neck of the caudex.
