Myrmecophila tibicinis
A bold, architectural species native to Mexico, Central America, and parts of the Caribbean, Myrmecophila tibicinis is known for its towering flower spikes and symbiotic relationship with ants in nature. Mature plants develop large, clustered pseudobulbs and can produce impressive, branched inflorescences bearing numerous waxy flowers in shades of green, brown, and purple, often with a light fragrance. Best suited for bright light and warm to hot conditions, this species thrives when grown mounted or in very well-drained media with strong air movement. A striking specimen plant for growers with space, rewarding patience with truly dramatic displays.
