Neofinetia falcata 'Awaharibeni' 阿波針紅

'Awaharibeni' is a needle leaf Neofinetia. This plant, as with most needle leaf, often needs to become a large clump of 10+ growths before it flowers. It clumps quickly and once it becomes a large specimen it can flower off and on for an entire year. Needle leaf are grown primarily for their leaves, as the flowers do not produce every year. If the flowers develop during cooler evening temperatures (mid 50's to 60's) there will be a slight pink color to the flowers. Commonly these produce white flowers.
