Description
'Samjongjeon' is the Korean variety name for this plant. 'Sankouden' translates to 'Three Crimson Palace', though the color is really more pink.
This cross is listed as a hybrid because it is 'Manjushage' (the triple spur white variety) crossed with 'Raikoumaru', which is a dark fuchsia colored hybrid. This cross has produced triple spur flowers with a hint of pink. It is possible that sometimes some flowers will be abnormal without three spur, but thus far these have proven to typically have three spurs as in the flower photo.
