Neofinetia falcata 'Shunkyuuden' 春及殿

'Shunkyuuden' means 'Spring Palace'. This variety is peloric and has extra floral parts. Each flower is very large and grows over a period of about a week. One flower is about 4x the size of normal Neofinetia flowers. Quite unique! True divisions as this variety are sterile and cannot breed. It can only be produced by division or clone.

This is a division of one we had awarded a JC/AOS in 2009. However, given that these are divisions/clones of each other, technically it would mean that all 'Shunkyuden' would now have the JC/AOS award.
