Oncidium altissimum

This Oncidium is a medium to large-sized epiphyte from the Lesser Antilles Islands of Martinique, Trinidad and St. Vincent. The graceful branching spikes can reach a length of up to 5 to 6 feet and be covered in hundreds of 1 inch flowers that are yellow with mahogany spotting in the speals and petals. This plant likes medium light and regular household temperatures. We have seen these flower in the spring and fall months.
