The official Orchidariums are back! Designer Rick Jacobs has designed an Orchidarium specifically for miniatures. Rick's brother, Robert Jacobs, ran the Orchidarium Company from 1994 until 2015 and now Rick is in charge. Orchidariums were highly sought after and we often get inquiries about availability, so we are pleased to be offering this new tabletop model for plant hobbyists.
These Orchidariums are a new type of wardian case for the cultivation of happy miniature orchids. They are an improved and managed environment. Restrepias, Laelias, Rupicolias, Lepanthes, Small Cattleyas, Phals, Paphs, a few Neos, and many other genera have been growing in test models for over a year now. The blooms have been exciting, and this model is the most fun to date.
If you grow miniature orchids, you will need proper humidity (60 to 80%), air movement, and cool led lighting which the Orchidariums help provide. We offer a premium case that comes with the electronics and lighting. The units are unique in their design and utility. They are fully functioning all-in-one units and are small enough to fit most places. They are easy to use, assemble, and clean. There are two LED fixtures within the unit: one that produces lower light and one that puts out higher light. You can have one on each end for your various plants.

Please note: This is a drop-shipped item, via FedEx GROUND. Once orders are placed with Rick at Orchidarium, he ships usually within a few days. Customers may also arrange to pickup at Orchidarium in Minneapolis.

Full list of included parts: Acrylic panels, tray and grids, 22 cfm axial fan, rheostat, mechanical timer, AGPTEK fogger and adapter (with extended warranty), digital timer preset at 2 minutes every 2 hours from 6am to 4pm daily for fogger, power strip for cord management, ThermoPro humidity and temperature monitor, bottle of Novus acrylic polish and cloth, and assembly instructions.
