Description
The less common, pure white form of bellatulum. A charming Brachypetalum slipper orchid native to Assam (India), Myanmar, Thailand, and central Yunnan, China. It grows at elevations of 300–1600 meters, making it tolerant of both cool and warm conditions. This species has even been successfully grown and flowered outdoors in Southern California.

Like all Brachypetalum Paphs, Paph. bellatulum is more susceptible to rot than other Paphiopedilums, so it’s best to avoid leaving the foliage wet for extended periods. Many growers take care not to wet the leaves at all during watering. However, with strong airflow, occasional splashes on the foliage are not a problem, as the leaves will dry by day’s end.

Plants offered are near blooming size and are expected to flower by summer 2026.
