Paph. Calloso-barbatum

A re-make of one of the very first registered Paphiopedilums, originally introduced in 1890! While we’ve seen one bloom (sadly without a photo), it’s possible this hybrid hasn’t been remade since its original registration. It shows a true 50/50 blend of its parents—compact growth from Paph. barbatum with added shape and color influence from Paph. callosum.

These are easy-to-grow, low-light plants that appreciate consistent root moisture. Just reaching blooming size now, we expect them to flower between winter and spring of 2026.
