Description
A warm to hot growing species native to Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Southwestern China, and northern Vietnam. In the wild, it is a shade-growing species that often is on limestone covered in leaf litter with the roots growing through crevices in the rocks.
This is a new generation of breeding which have been producing larger and rounder flowers. Thick and succulent foliage! These have just reached blooming size, and most commonly flower in the summer months, but we have also seen them flower in the spring and fall. They have a slight fragrance of cheese... which is odd for an orchid!
