Description
This Brachypetalum hybrid has a large growth habit thanks to the Paph. bellatulum genetics. These orchids prefer warmer and drier conditions relative to typical Paphiopedilum. In the winter, maintain lows above 70°F for optimal culture.
Brachypetalum do best root bound, so we keep them in the smallest pot possible. If you do not have good air flow, water from below to prevent leaf rot. This batch is very rot resistant, and we have had no plants perish from it. Grow in low light with intermediate to warm temperatures. Water once to twice per week, depending on your environment.
