Paph. Harold Koopowitz

This is a fantastic primary hybrid which is one of the best Parvisepalum x Polyantha Paphiopedilum crosses out there! Named after a well-known orchid author and friend of the orchid world, Harold Koopowitz is a well-established gentleman whose books and namesake will go down in history! This hybrid has tough, lush, green mottled foliage and produces large flowers with a slight sweet fragrance from the malipoense. The fragrance is like white pine.

This current batch was made with quality parents that Sam Tsui of the Orchid Inn used in his breeding program. We are happy to carry on his lineage after his retirement as he had an eye for quality. We expect this batch to flower summer of 2025!
