Paph. Mamie Wilson flavum

Very beautiful flowers with a look that is right in between the two parents. These are larger flowered than we expected and are all yellow with a slightly deeper yellow pouch and dorsal sepal. The first bloom plants have all had from 3-4 flowers on a spike. The average flower size is 10-12 cm. Special note: these plants can show signs of a magnesium deficiency. It will appear as yellowing lower leaves. This can be cured with the application of epsom salts once per month and or an increase in the nitrogen content. If your water is city water and not softened it may have limestone in the water which will keep things in balance.
