Paph. philippinense 'Port of Caroline'

This sturdy, compact nearly miniature form of philippinense has been in cultivation for over 50 years. It was originally a wild collected plant that made its way to the USA in the 1960’s. The flowers are like a typical philippinense in size but what sets this clone apart are the narrow, compact leaves that are no more than 8-9" long. Native to the Philippines and northern Borneo. Grow warm and medium light for best results. These can grow well in both bark and sphagnum moss.

We recently potted this division into a 4.5-inch pot with New Zealand sphagnum moss.
