Description
A very rare species from Papua New Guinea originally described in 1915 as papuanum with a later description in 1946 and eventually described by Shoser as zieckianum in 1967. This extremely rare species has less than 50 individual mature plants alive in nature (IUCN Redlist). The plants we offer are grown from seed. This is a small plant and will flower when only 3-4 inches across. The true ziekianum has narrow, stiff green leaves with darker suffused markings in the leaves.
