Description
This is the coerulea form of this lowland species from Borneo, usually found near rivers and preferring hot, humid conditions. Growing in intermediate conditions works as well, but not as fast as giving it temperatures in the 80s to 90s. They grow well in New Zealand sphagnum moss. Fertilize every 2nd to 3rd time as moss holds nutrients well.
As with all sections of Polychilos Phals, leave the flower spikes intact after blooming, and they will regenerate for the next bloom season, often accompanied by a new spike.
We expect to see some flowers from this batch in the summer of 2026!
