(Kingidium decumbens)
A widespread lowland species from Southeast Asia, well-suited to warm temperatures and shaded conditions. This unique plant produces branching inflorescences lined with numerous small flowers, with flower count increasing as the plant matures.
The foliage is equally distinctive, featuring attractive ruffled margins and often developing rich anthocyanin (reddish) pigmentation under suitable light. Despite their small flowers, these mid-sized plants stay compact and space-efficient, and are mature in 4" pots.
A truly unusual and eye-catching species for any collection!
Imported late winter of 2026. It is possible these will spike this summer.
