Phal. Princess Kaiulani (Dark Form)

This cross was made using the indigo blue form of Phal. violacea, which intensifies the violet color and makes for a very vibrant flower. This is a hybrid from the subgenus 'Polychilos' which are known for waxy and shiny leaves and sweet-fragranced star-shaped flowers that bloom in the spring through fall months. Do not remove the flower spike when they finish flowering as this type will re-bloom off the old stems as well as produce new ones.
