Phal. stuartiana var. nobilis 'Wilson'

Native to the warm, humid forests of Mindanao, the Philippines, this species prefers warmer temperatures for maximum growth. However, it can be grown in intermediate temperatures as well, with slower progression.

Unlike the standard form of stuartiana, nobilis lacks mottled foliage, but has yellow color throughout the petals. Branching flower spikes produce several lightly fragrant flowers, and make for a floriferous show when in bloom! This species also does very well mounted on a slab, if your conditions have high humidity and you water frequently.

Current plants are in mid-spike as of late January, and we expect them to flower by early to mid-March.
