Description
Big, beautiful plants with double spikes! Large, premium-sized Phalaenopsis = more flowers! This is not your typical grocery store Phal! The unique contrast of pink flowers with a white lip is also a treat! The product pictured shows floral tape, balancing the two spikes so they grow upright. You'll have to stake them as they get taller. Once they reach the mid-spike stage, we will start to stake them as well.
This is part of our spike-initiated series, which is a way to save costs on the plant price and the shipping. These come in the Taiwan soft production pots with a single drain hole on the bottom, which are typically dropped into a sturdy ceramic container for display. You have the choice to up-pot it by adding more moss or bark around the root system (we recommend about a 5.5 to 6-inch pot), or leave it as-is and drop it into an appropriate container.

*Note that Taiwan production Phals are grown in tight spaces, with foliage sometimes flopping over. We re-train them with clear tape. If you receive a plant with clear tape, you may remove it after 2 weeks, and the foliage will then stay in place.
