Phal. tetraspis f. christiana 'C1' JC/AOS

A low-elevation species from Sumatra that prefers warm temperatures. Among the Section Polychilos Phalaenopsis, this species is one of the most variable, displaying a wide range of colors and patterns that are often passed on to its hybrids. This particular form is noted for its unique and unpredictable red petals, which can range from just one to several on each flower.

As with all sections of Polychilos Phals, leave the flower spikes intact after blooming, and they will regenerate for the next bloom season, often accompanied by a new spike.

*Note, even when listed 'not in spike', many of these will be shipped with dormant spikes, typically regenerating in the summer to fall months.
