Phal. venosa -Red Form-

This is a different strain of Phal. venosa, bred by H. P. Norton. These plants all are offspring of Phal. venosa 'Red Mahogany' AM/AOS and Phal. venosa 'Red Chestnut'. This strain of Phal. venosa differs from the regular strain due to the presence of red pigments (anthocyanins) in the flower petals, which gives the flowers a dark red appearance - this can be in the form of large spots to solid red in color. The plants that we are selling are large plants that come in 5-inch pots.
