Description
This awarded intergeneric hybrid clone blooms with beautiful 3" wide dark red flowers displayed on 3-foot tall spikes in the fall to winter months! The vibrant color and floriferous display make this an excellent orchid to enjoy in the later months of the year. Water and feed heavily during the growing and flowering seasons from spring to fall.
After flowering, this orchid goes dormant for the remainder of the winter. Once the leaves turn yellow and drop off, reduce watering to just enough to keep the pseudobulbs from shriveling. Do not apply fertilizer during the dormancy period. Once you see new growths emerge at the base in spring, resume regular watering and and feeding.
Current plants are in 6" pots with new growth approaching maturity. these should send up flower spikes between December and February.
