Description
This is a remake of the primary hybrid between Phrag. besseae and Phrag. fischeri. This time however we used the tetraploid form of Phrag. besseae, and we used our awarded clone 'Rob's Choice'. The resulting hybrid is a triploid with thick flowers that are rounder in shape than the regular diploid Barbara LeAnn, and much darker in color.
More of this cross will be available later summer or fall of 2007.
