Phrag. Flash Gordon 'Red Flash' division - Individual Listing

This is one of the greatest red Phrag hybrids we have in our collection. A true one of a kind division. In its background consists a mix of sargentianum, besseae and popowii. A combination that can only produce deep reds. This flower has the substance, shape and color of what we strive for in breeding. This is most definitely of AOS award quality if it were to be displayed at a judged event. The flower is large with an 11.5 CM natural spread. It is also capable of multiple branching on the stems due to the sargentianum background.

The non-flowering division in the photo is the actual plant you will receive.

This is a strong grower and is currently root bound in a 3.25" square pot growing in Grodan growcubes.

One of the top leaves was growing under another plant and had folded over a bit. We are currently training it to stand back up with a slim wire. This technique usually works and the wire is usually removed in 2 to 3 weeks. This is a blooming size division and should be able to produce a flower spike in less than one year. This hybrid is a steady and strong grower, but not as fast as a Jason Fischer or besseae.
