Phrag. QF Ehukai

This Phragmipedium has a mix of besseae and d'alessandroi. Even though one of the parents is 1/2 yellow, the red genetics of besseae are dominant and all of these will be red like besseae. It has a similar look to Phrag. Jersey, which is like a besseae with slightly down swept petals. For the most intense red color, the evening temperature should be in the mid 50s to mid 60s, with a daytime temp no warmer than 75. However, these will flower in intermediate to warmer temperatures as well, but with less intensity in the color.

Keep moist at all times. Growing in Grodan Grow Cubes. Use quality, pure water like reverse osmosis or distilled water. Rain water is also good.
