Description
Native to Panama this hardy pleurothalid grows at an elevation of 1500-3000 feet and is tolerant of cool to warm temperatures. this is an easy plant to grow and flower typically blooming twice per year in spring and fall. This plant also does very well under lights or in bright diffused light at a windowsill.
Very deep red, 3/4" flowers with yellow on the outer edges around the dorsal sepals and petals. Compact miniature plants that grow quickly into specimens. As of 10/20/2021 these plants were recently repotted into anew Zealand sphagnum moss. Water as the moss approaches dryness. The last photo is of the plants on offer.
