Rexius Orchid Bark - Douglas Fir

This high quality Douglas Fir bark is heat sterilized and will break down slowly, on the order of 2 years before needing to be replaced. With more aeration, using clay pots or perlite, it can last even longer! You'll be able to repot your root bound orchids by simply shifting them a larger pot several times before this bark reaches the end of its life.

This bark comes in a medium size, roughly 3/8" to 1/2". We recommend using this bark for Phalaenopsis, Paphiopedilum and Cattleya orchids up to 4" pots.
