Rhyncholaelia digbyana ‘Bates Green’

This species blooms with large 4 inch vibrant green flowers on compact plants. The ‘Bates Green’ clone blooms with darker, more intense green colors than we've typically seen. Grow in medium to high light and allow the potting mix to dry out between watering. Keep the potting mix drier during winter months. Powerful fragrance at night. These are mericlones that we have been growing for many years. Digbyana is a painfully slow grower and can easily take a decade or more to get them up to a nice flowering size plant with several growths.
