Stanhopea Michael Bloyer

This hybrid is the result of two of the largest Stanhopea species crossed together. The result is a fast-growing orchid that produces fantastically large flowers that produce a strong, sweet fragrance unlike anything else! While Stanhopea flowers only bloom for about 3 to 4 days, large plants often flower several times per season.

These plants are priced per bulb, including older bulbs that have dropped their leaves - a natural occurrence in this genus. The larger, well established orchids in this group bloom more frequently with larger, more fragrant flowers!

Please Note: It is normal for Stanhopea leaves to yellow at the tips and show occasional spotting. Water frequently and fertilize often during active growth to maximize leaf health.
