Stanhopea ruckeri x tigrina

A primary hybrid between the highly floriferous ruckeri and the near-black tigrina. Pictured here is the first to flower for the summer of 2026. Big and showy, with a wonderful scent of vanilla custard!

We are offering 6" or 8" hanging baskets, which both have the potential to flower during the summer to fall season of 2026. Water and fertilize frequently during the summer months as they grow faster during the warm season. In addition, this hybrid seems to be growing faster than either parent!

Oryzalin treated in the lab for larger flowers, which worked on this first bloom! These are seed-produced, so expect some variety in the color patterns.
