Description
A primary hybrid between the highly floriferous ruckeri and the near-black tigrina (also known as nigroviolacea). This plant, when crossed with nigroviolacea, is registered as Stanhopea Spark to Flame. This should have similar flowers.
This plant should produce a good flower count, especially when mature, with a great fragrance! It should also be cool to warm tolerant with the mix of these Mexican/Central American parents.
6" pots, Oryzalin-treated, which means there may be some tetraploid conversion plants with larger-than-normal flowers! We expect these to reach blooming size by 2027.
