Stanhopea shuttleworhtii x grandiflora

A new primary hybrid, which has also been oryzalin-treated in the lab for potential tetraploid conversion. In other words, we are trying to make already large flowers even larger! Big, showy, and fragrant is the goal with this cross.

These are established seedlings in 4-inch production pots, and we expect them to reach blooming size in 2027/2028.
