Native to Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua at elevations around 850 meters. Grows best warm to hot, and likes an open, airy mixture. Bark mix works well, as does sphagnum moss in clay pots. Typically flowers in the spring to summer season, with mature plants producing flower spikes that can reach up to four feet in height.
This is the less-common flava version of the flower.
These plants have just reached mature size and will flower either summer of 2026 or 2027.
