This cross combines our line-bred Vanda coerulea supra with Vanda coerulea alba. The resulting flowers display soft purple-blue tones and are larger and rounder than those of the alba parent.
These plants thrive in bright light and tolerate temperatures ranging from cool to warm. One of the most notable advantages of this cross is its exceptional vigor, with plants growing more quickly than either parent.
Select plants from this cross will also be used in our continued alba breeding program, with the goal of producing pure white flowers that are larger than those typically seen in Vanda coerulea alba.
