Vanda denisoniana 'The Optimist'

This clone, 'The Optimist', is notable for its larger flowers with heavy substance. We occasionally offer divisions of this fantastic clone. A beautiful fragrant Vanda species from Yunnan China, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam. The flowers produce a strong vanilla scent in the evening.

You can grow bare root in baskets if you have good heat and humidity (South Florida, for example), but they also do just fine in plastic pots with good drainage in an orchid bark mix.
