A warm to cool growing, floriferous mini Dracula found at 1600 meters in central to southwestern Colombia. The Latin, Ophiocepsrefers to the snake-like appearance of the long, elegant inflorescenses that dangle pendantly below the lanceolate leaves, carrying a single, white and tan flower covered in delicate fuzz.
